You must be 18 years or older to use TalkLive.
By continuing, you agree to our , including the rules on respectful behavior and reporting/bans.
Terms & Community Guidelines
The full rules below are provided in English.
How TalkLive Works
TalkLive connects you with a random stranger for a live, audio-only conversation. There's no sign-up — tap "Start," allow microphone access, and you'll be paired with someone automatically. Tap "Next" any time to end the current call and get matched with someone new, or "Hang Up" to leave entirely. You can optionally set a gender preference, a country, and interest tags from the settings menu to help find a better match.
Quick Tips
- Use headphones to avoid echo/feedback for both you and your match.
- You can mute your mic at any time with the microphone button.
- Text chat is available alongside audio via the chat icon.
- If a call feels unsafe or inappropriate, tap "Report" — this immediately ends the call and blocks that person from being matched with you again.
Community Guidelines — Be a Good Stranger
TalkLive only works if people treat each other with basic respect. Please:
- Be kind. Treat the person on the other end the way you'd want to be treated.
- Keep things audio-only and consensual — don't pressure others into topics, content, or behavior they haven't agreed to.
- Respect a "no" or a hang-up. If someone ends the call or asks you to stop, let it go.
- Assume you're talking to a real stranger, possibly a minor despite the age requirement below — act accordingly.
- Use the Report button if something feels wrong. Reporting helps keep this usable for everyone.
Prohibited Conduct
The following will get you reported and banned, and may be referred to law enforcement where applicable:
- Sexual content, sexual harassment, or solicitation of any kind.
- Hate speech, slurs, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- Threats, intimidation, or incitement of violence.
- Any use of TalkLive by, or directed at, anyone under 18.
- Recording, screenshotting, or distributing audio from a call without the other person's consent.
- Spam, advertising, bots, scripts, or automated use of the service.
- Impersonation, scams, phishing, or attempts to collect personal information from other users.
- Any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
Ban Policy — Read This
Reports are taken seriously. If you're reported for prohibited conduct, the reporting user is permanently blocked from being matched with you again, and repeated or severe reports can result in your access to TalkLive being suspended or permanently banned, with no entitlement to a refund of any kind (TalkLive is free, but this applies to any future paid features). We reserve the right to ban any user, at any time, for any reason connected to abuse of the service or harm to other users, without prior notice. Attempting to evade a ban (new device, new network, new account signal) is itself a violation and may result in a permanent IP-level block.
